That is not to say that other breeds of cats are not smart and lovable, but there is just something about the Siamese cat that sets it apart. We’ve never had a Siamese before, and didn’t know we had one now until a veterinary friend pointed it out and I looked at your article above. We only knew that Sam was not like other cats: he “talked” to us frequently and demanded we play games with him that he invented separately for each family member. He is a perpetual nuisance and easily the sweetest most social cat I’ve ever seen. Thanks so much for allowing us to – finally – understand our Sam!
